Functional Behavior Assessment
Summarize findings from observations, information gathered from indirect assessments and records review, and data collected. Describe factors that affect behavior and the possible function(s) of behavior. Make specific recommendations for behavior support plan and ongoing supports.
(minimum 4 hours)
Positive Behavior Support Plan
Document to include proactive/preventative strategies, teaching strategies for replacement behaviors, interaction styles, reinforcement schedules, and reactive strategies based on the function of the identified target behaviors.
(minimum 4 hours)
Ongoing Clinical Behavioral Support
(hours will depend on recommendations from plan)
o Data collection: Continue data collection during plan implementation.
o Review of data: Assess behavior change and effectiveness of interventions.
o Presentation of data: Present data to the team on a regular basis to report progress.
o Observations as needed: Continue direct observation to observed behavior change and treatment integrity.
o Plan review and revisions as needed: Make changes as necessary based on data.
o Complete monthly progress notes to relay progress and effectiveness of plan.
o Provide training and support to family members/staff regarding the plan and data collection materials.
o Provide modeling and direct behavioral interventions for family members/staff on how to respond to challenging behaviors.
Telehealth
Teletherapy can be a very helpful tool for clients to receive services. Teletherapy allows a consistent means of communication between client and Behavior Analyst and can remedy concerns related to travel or convenience.
